a week agoThis was a recommendation by a friend and he was so right when he said this place serves awesome ramen. Loved the ramen I ordered. It was perfect. I am definitely going back. The decor is subtle but lovely. The chairs and tables comfortable and the service attentive. It does get busy during regular meal times but outside of those hours, it is a lot more relaxed.

a month agoI eat at this restaurant frequently. I have also eaten at other Kenzo Ramen locations. Always one of my favorite Japanese ramen restaurants. Great flavours and delicious freshly made noodles. Always a good quantity of food in the ramen bowl. Ordered the Sapporo miso ramen (vegetarian version), and it was as delicious as usual.

a month agoWe visited this ramen spot in Barrie last week and, as usual, the food was delicious especially the ramen, which was rich and satisfying. There was a bit of a wait (around 20–30 minutes) for our order, but it was understandable given how busy it was. The service was good and staff were attentive. Overall, still our go-to place for ramen in Barrie and we’ll definitely be back!

4 months agoI have been to Japan many times and this ramen is very good!! Service was good as well👍🏻. My only complaints: The outer door kept staying open and left the restaurant chilly. Also, the ground pork on top of the ramen was very cold-not sure why it wouldn’t have been heated prior to putting it on the ramen. If those 2 things change it’d be a 5 star rating from me.

5 months agoSuper good, authentic tasting ramen, perfect for this cold winter. Service was very fast, we were brought water right away and menus were on the table. Food was quick to come out and stayed super hot throughout eating. At the end of our meal, they packed up our ramen for us, even separating the contents from the broth. Super thoughtful cosy vibes here!

6 months agoWas Delicious. This will be a new stop on my list. I suggest if your looking at it that you Try it out.. and they are hiring. Sign said on the way in the door. My only complaint, the temperature. When the door opened there was a cold burst of air. Customers (some) who had taken off their jackets needed to put them back on. Easy fix with a heater blowing hot air in the entry. Either was great portions of delicious Ramen and worth the chill.

7 months agoKenzo Ramen is always a safe and consistent place to get Ramen in Barrie. Broth is delicious, noodles are fresh, I couldn't ask for much more. Plaza is kind of a pain to get in and out of, but it doesnt ever stop me from going. One of my favorite places to eat in all of Barrie. I would highly recommend!

a year agoWhere do I even begin... I have so many words, and yet I am struggling to write something good enough. The food at Kenzo Ramen is SO packed with flavour! Heat levels are customizable, but I suggest shooting low. Level 1 is definitely warm. Level 2 packs a pretty good punch. Anything above that and I would call you very brave. The menu is incredible. Something for everyone, and every dish is beautifully presented. It is WELL worth checking out, but MAKE A RESERVATION. Kenzo is a culinary sensation and they have the lineups to prove it!
